When her partner of nineteen years died suddenly in 2020, Becky started her journey toward healing through counseling, journaling, and self-reflection. Using photography as a creative outlet to deal with her grief, Becky began to find meaning in her life again. As she progressed further in her journey, she felt called to support others who were grieving. She volunteers for Providence Hospice and has been a guest speaker in grief recovery groups. She wrote her books to let others who are grieving know they are not alone.
Borne of Grief and Flow is book one in the author's grief recovery series.
Have you experienced a significant loss and feel that you are completely alone? Are you consumed with grief and can’t find a way through the darkness? Do you fear it will never get better?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, this book is for you. Although grief is a universal experience, how we deal with grief is an individual process. Confusion, memory loss, and disrupted sleep patterns become a new normal. You may start to wonder if things will ever get better and if you can possibly be happy again. This is a story of one person’s journey of grief and healing. It’s meant to bring hope and light to those who can’t see a way through the darkness. Grief is a life-long process, but it does get easier.

Wherever The Road... is book two in the author's grief recovery series.
Sometimes, we have to get lost to find ourselves. After the death of a loved one, the grief can seem overwhelming. Life feels like a constant state of ups and downs, and it’s hard to know what may activate the sorrow. The grief doesn’t go away; it just gets softer and smaller until you learn to live with it.
After her partner died in 2020, Becky Gibler finally felt a sense of peace in December 2021, but as another new year came around, the intense pain of her loss surfaced again. With no destination in mind, she felt compelled to get in her car and drive. A month-long journey turned into two, with many twists and turns along the way. Becky faced her fears and came back with a deep sense of who she is and what she wants to do with her life. The author went through an incredible transformation in those two months and came back with a clearer picture of her life’s path. She felt called to share her story with others who may be struggling with the pain of loss. “Wherever The Road...” chronicles the lessons the author learned on her journey - lessons that she hopes will resonate with, and bring hope and healing to, others who are facing a similar path.
